Katy Perry Tattoo

When one thinks of the, I kissed a girl singer the last thing that comes to their mind is tattoos. This is the best thing about tattoos. People who you would never think to have one has one. This also just goes to show that the stereotype on tattoos couldn't be more wrong. It is usually those shy, good girls from next door that have a secret love for tattoos. With that being said, Katy Perry does have a tattoo of her own and it just so happens to be in a rather visible place.

Katy has a tattoo on her left wrist. Her tattoo is a text tattoo, that simply says Jesus in black ink. No word on why Katy decided to get this tattoo. But there you have it she does have one. There have also been some rumors that she has a lip tattoo on her back somewhere. However, Katy does not rule out the possibility of getting another tattoo. It seems that the hot and cold singer, has been hot and cold about getting a tattoo of Freddie Mercury on her back. Katy has once stated that she looks up the former front-man of Queen and completely idolizes him. She shared that she once almost got a huge tattoo of Freddie's face on her back, but says she decided against at the last minute. She says she is glad she didn't do it but on the flip side she still has an urge to get this tattoo on her back. So it is pretty safe to say that this pin up style singer will more than likely add to her tattoo collection one day.

Celebrity Tattoos - Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga Arm Tattoos .

The Poker Face singer is probably best known for her outlandish outfits and crazy hair and fun dance songs. But Lady Gaga real name, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. But do not dare call her that, she only responds to Lady Gaga or Gaga. Well Lady Gaga is also no stranger to the tattoo gun. Lady Gaga has a total of three tattoos.

The one tattoo that most everyone has seen is the black peace symbol located on her left wrist. If you look at it, it looks upside down but from Lady Gaga's view it is right side up. She says she got this tattoo because of John Lennon. She is a huge John Lennon and Beatles fan and she grew up two miles from the imagine memorial. She she got the tattoo to help reminder her about the important things in life, like give peace a chance.

She also has a tattoo on her left should blade. This tattoo is of a Hawaiian flower. Her last tattoo is on her lower back and on her side. Gaga says that she got her first tattoo when she was 17 and got a fake id so she could do so. Of course her parents were not too happy. Well Gaga obviously regrets the tattoo design she got because she has gotten it covered up. She has three very large white roses on her side with some black vines and another set of the same roses on her lower back with some black vines that Kat Von D of LA Ink did for her.

Orchid Tattoos

Orchid Tattoos can be an interesting and beautiful body art if you are looking on getting floral designs. It is not as common as rose, lotus or lilies so you can have a unique tattoo if you choose to have this. However, it is as equally gorgeous and sophisticated as the other flowers mentioned and meaningful in its own way.

Orchids are in fact, the most passionately cultivated flowers in the world. As tattoo designs, there are tons of varieties to choose from in various shapes and colors. Cattleya is the most popular of its kind and it’s the classic corsage flowers. In terms of symbolism, orchids have long been symbols for exotic and mysterious. They are known to signify romance, extravagance and the desire for intimacy. The wild orchid was universally a symbol of fertility. In China, the orchid is a symbol of perfection while in England, the purple spots on the petals were said to represent the blood of Christ.

With the flowers’ natural beauty, orchid tattoos can look magnificent whether they are inked small or large on the body. The placement to consider for this tattoo theme are shoulder blade, lower back, lower stomach, foot, and even ribs if you are looking for design on a large scale. It looks better if tattooed with colors to make it more realistic; however, there are some tattoo aficionados who choose to have orchid tattoos inked with just black outline. It really depends on the design you choose and how your tattoo artist will execute it on your body.

With tattoos being permanent, just make sure that you choose an orchid design that is “tattooable”. You can ask your tattoo artist so sketch one for you or you can choose online from websites offering high quality tattoo art.

Fita K-7
